Finally made it out of Danbury, CT with the illustrious 811 and are starting the test on the A&O out of Buckhannon, WV tomorrow! Sure am glad to be out of that snake-den. Nothing new to report so I figured I'd share a few from 25 years ago down here on the Chessie (C&O). Was working for a Safety Shoe company, driving a mobile shoe store around the railroads...servicing C&O, B&O, WM, L&N, SCL, WofA, Georgia, CRR, A&WP, N&W, CR, and D&H. Travelled with camera in hand, shooting everything...locos, cars, buildings, m of w equipment, and vehicles. Those were some good times!!!
