NS 212 passes by the unassembled signal that will be used to
control westbound movements on NS’s LEHL and Royce Running track on October 26,
2013. This signal is located adjacent to the Roycefield Road grade crossing in
Hillsborough (NJ). A second signal for controlling eastbound movements is
located at the west end of the Royce Runner where it joins the mainline. NS has
also upgraded the Royce siding with welded rail and dumping fresh ballast where
needed over the past few months. Currently though there is no information as to
what the timeline is for this project to become fully
operational.
