(Train sightings on 2-6-10.)
Dodging a bullet is what Central NJ did with the snow on February 6, 2010. Preliminary weather forecasts called for an estimated 7 to 12 inches of snow but this section of the state was spared with only 4 to 7 inches. Despite the snow, NJT was still operating close to a regular Saturday schedule on the RVL as seen here. NJT Train 5519 is arriving at the Raritan, NJ station right on time at 12:42. Taking the train though remained the best way of getting around in Central NJ on this snowy day.
