NKP 765 is heading north at MP 107 on Saturday morning as seen from the
bridge abutment of what was once the L&NE bridge that spanned the river at
this location. Thirty years earlier I was on that same bridge abutment
photographing another excursion, The Jim Thorpe Express, on October 13, 1985.
Motive power for that excursion Morristown & Erie ALCOs 16 and 17 (?) and
NJT 4167 on what was a foggy morning along the Lehigh River.
