(Train and wildlife sightings on 5-12-12.)
heading down to check on the progress of the Route 206 Belle Mead (NJ) bridge project on CSX's Trenton Line (MP 48) this Saturday morning, I was surprised to see that my photo location was already staked out by another "visitor". It was a red fox sitting by what was once the old Reading waiting building. Perhaps this fox was waiting for the next CSX freight to pass by or reminiscing about the Reading trains he saw as a pup? Anyway, I am speculating the "five-minute rule" was in effect for this fox because five minutes after he left, CSX Q300 passed by what once was his vantage point. The Q300's motive power consisted of CSX 295 and CSX 5265.
