Ringling Brothers Blue Unit circus train continues its 1,314 mile trip from Huntsville (AL) to Providence (RI). It is seen here passing through Three Bridge's Main Street grade crossing (LEHL; MP 48) on a rainy Wednesday morning at 10:51. This train consisted of sixty-one cars, weighed in at 4,490 tons and measured 5,409 feet. The morning rain didn't put a damper on my enthusiasm for seeing this train pass by. Those motorists who were delayed in their travels by this train at the grade crossing, one could only wonder what they were thinking about seeing this train as it passed by?
