Been quite a few of
these Air Products move so far this year. By my estimation, I am aware of four
that have come down the LEHL in 2013. Information regarding this move was that
it came through Pattenburg around 12:45 and would reach Port Reading Jct in
Manville (NJ) at 3 o'clock on Saturday. The first image was taken in Manville
after it had passed over the Main Street underpass. Motive power for the run
down the LEHL was two D9-40CWs, NS 9575 and NS 9863. This second image shows NS
052 is done for the day and waits for Sunday's run west down CSX's Trenton Line.
It would be designated as CSX X999 and scheduled to depart at 8 AM. Sunday
morning finds CSX's X999 passing through the Skillman(NJ) grade crossing at MP
47 on the Trenton Line around 8:30. No idea what the dimensions were on this
load when it comes to weight or length. My opinion is that this was one of the
bigger Air Products H/W loads that I have witnessed. I was told that this was
being shipped to Korea where additional components would be added. Once that is
done it would then be shipped to a undisclosed permanent location that was
"...somewhere between Malaysia and
Australia."
