There was still some LEHL autumn colors to be seen...

...albeit rather sparse in nature to be seen along the Lehigh Line. I suppose that Friday night and Saturday's four inches worth of rain contributed to the lack of leaves on the trees. With what remained on the trees and with a sunny morning, there was still some nice fall images to be seen but I will let you be the judge and jury on that. The first two trains were seen passing through the Lansdown Road grade crossing (MP 58) while 214 was seen as it passed by the Hamden Road grade crossing. In time sequence, the three trains seen were as follows:


NS 22V @ 9:04 would have as its leader NS 8705 followed by NS 9011.

NS 212 @ 9:27 had NS 9707, NS 8788 and NS 8887 for motive power.


NS 214 @ 10:22 had NS 8747, NS 9108 and NS 2635 bring this intermodal east.
