Third Annual Project 113 Slide Show
To be held Saturday, March 23, 2013
The show will be presented at Christy Joy’s Catering Service,
located on 141 Bulls Head Road, Pottsville, PA.
Doors will open at 8:00 AM for coffee and doughnuts. The presenters will begin at 9:00 AM.
The master of ceremonies for this event will be Mr. Al Barnes.
9:00 AM to 9:50 AM: Kermit Geary, Jr., History of Sperry Rail Service and Steam on the Lehigh New England Railroad.
10:00 AM to 10:50 AM: Don Young, Indonesian Steam.
11:00 AM to 11:50 AM: Mike Smith, Reading Company, End of Steam Era at Reading PA.
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM: Break for lunch.
1:15 PM to 1:40 PM: Joe Fusco’s 113 restoration progress presentation.
1:50 PM to 2:40 PM: Dale Woodland, Vintage Alco and GE Locomotive Advertisements.
2:50 PM to 4:00 PM: Craig Worley, Kantner Slide Collection.
There will be door prizes, raffles, and a limited number of vendors selling memorabilia .
Lunch will be provided by Christy Joy Catering Service. The menu will be served buffet style and consist of the following: Baked ham, city chicken, kielbasa, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and mixed homemade desserts.
The cost is $30.00 per person. Checks can be made payable to Project 113 and sent to Project 113, 113 East Sunbury Street, Minersville, PA 17954.

Starting at Minersville Station, proceed east on Seltzer Road 1 3/10 miles to Bulls Head Road, turn right on Bulls Head Road, travel approximately 7/10 mile. Christy Joy’s Catering Service is on the right. There is plenty of off road parking on the grounds of the facility.
