Can't wait to join you at the Holiday Jubilee!

Received Via Email

Hey Jan,

Boy, those jingle bells are getting very close. Now that you've slept off that wonderful meal, it's time to plan for all of the fun at the Downtown Somerville Holiday Jubilee this Saturday, November 25! There's so much to do, you might even need a map. Luckily, there just happens to be one right here.
Start the day off early with some Small Business Saturday #ShopSmall action. Tons of stores, restaurants, and service providers can't wait to make your day with seasonal experiences that involve laughter and joy, not pushing and shoving. There's plenty of free parking in the municipal lots all around the Downtown, so plan to make a day of it!

Holiday Jubilee entertainment begins around 5:30 with musical entertainment in front of the giant tree on Division Street. Representatives from the Somerville School of Rock and the Triangle Dance student dance troupe will be performing. Then, right around 6:00, Santa will make his big arrival and light the tree.

The holiday magic doesn't end for the rest of the night. Many shops and restaurants will be open for you to browse and snack. Complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides provide a tour of Main Street, thanks to sponsor RAM Law.

Grab a cup of hot cocoa from sponsors The Children's Dental Center and The United Reformed Church, and discover treats and surprises from community groups like Brownie Troop 61140.

Take a complimentary photo with Santa on the lawn of the United Reformed Church, and then step right inside for ongoing performances by the Raritan Ringers bell choir.

Perhaps most importantly, say hello to your friends and neighbors. They'll be there, it's the community event of the year!
