Another successful weekend at NY's Premier Railroad Museum

Received the following pictures and text via email from Kermit Geary, Jr. The weekend he refers to was 8- 23&24 -08.

Spent a very good weekend at the Rochester & Genesee Valley RR Museum's Annual Diesel Days. This group of volunteers is some of the best group of professionals that I have had the pleasure of associating with. Operating units this year included the FM H12-44...#1843, GE 80-Ton...#1645, and the premier unit...RS3m...LV 211!!

Yep, the famous Hammerhead from the PRR/LV/CR. Lovingly restored to its Lehigh Valley appearance. This unit was the star attraction.

KUDO's to ALL the R&GVRM volunteers and especially all the RIT students and alumni who really made the weekend flow smoothly. Thanks again to Mike Roque, Luther Brefo, Otto VonDrak, Ryan Kane, Super Dave, Matt Glogowski, John Sommer and everyone else who's name I forgot.

Also a Special thanks to Matt Snell who arrived bearing a gift of a highly detailed model of the LV 211 as she looks today. (see last picture)
