Flooding Between Memphis and Sheffield
Floodwaters have receded and operations restored over Norfolk Southern's line between Memphis, Tennessee and Sheffield, Alabama. However, slow orders are in effect as track conditions are closely monitored. With improving conditions, operations should be gradually returning to normal over the next couple of days. Customers with shipments normally moving over this route should expect delays of 24 to 48 hours.
