Memorial Day fun

Received the following via email from Kermit Geary, Jr. Text, photos, and captions are his.

After putting in a 100+ hour week, working Sunday thru Saturday, travelling to another POStruck (that will be a story in itself when I finally leave Sperry), going thru safety training for OSHA & AK Steel so we can test the Ashland, KY, Middletown, OH, Mansfield, OH, and Butler, PA locations. WHEW!!!

Tested Thursday, Friday, and Saturday(of Memorial Day weekend) at the Ashland Steel works...temps were 90+degrees and no a/c in the cab of the POST. died saturday night and sunday, but felt good enough to look around the area today. Neither NS or CSXT treated this as a holiday weekend, running everything from work trains to locals. The only shut-down was at KRT in Ceredo, WV.

Enjoy the pictures. Sorry nothing available from in-plant ops due to a ban on photography!
