There is a web site that specializes in buying, selling, or swapping railroad equipment for preservation or use by shortlines. It is called RailSwap.org
A page on this site lists a former LV SW-1 as being sold in December for preservation. Unfortunately, it doesn't say who it was sold to. Does anybody know?
