One more from the archives...

(Train sighting on 9-7-02.)

When Dunellen's Railroad Days was held back on September 7 and 8 in 2002, it was billed as a "...celebration of the town's railroading heritage". Part of the festival's activities included train rides over NJT's RVL from Dunellen to North Branch. The excursion is seen here crossing over the Raritan River just east of North Branch (MP 39.4) as it heads back east. Motive power consisted of NYS&W 2402, seen here leading, NYS&W GP20 2064 and NYS&W 2400. Right behind the 2400 was Suzie-Q's dome car.
