(Train sightings on 8-30-14 and 9-1-14.)
...in which I spotted only two trains during my time trackside down in
Hillsborough alongside MP 40. Saturday's sighting was NS 290 that had UP 5085
(SD70M) as its leader with an unidentifed NS diesel. Monday's lone sighting was
of NS 22V with NS 9837 (C40-9W), NS 9562 (40-9W) and a third unidentified NS
diesel. Despite seeing only two trains, it still was an enjoyable day to be
trackside on this Labor Day weekend.
