AUTHOR PRESENTATION
"The Morristown & Erie Railroad - Past & Present"

On Wednesday, January 20th, GPCo author and editor Rudy Garbely will be giving a slideshow presentation on the entire history of the Morristown & Erie Railroad, from the railroad's beginnings in the 1890s through its continued operations today. This is an all-new presentation - if you have seen Rudy's previous M&E presentations, you haven't seen this one yet! The presentation, hosted by the North Jersey History & Genealogy Center, will be held at the Morristown Library in Morristown, NJ at 7:00 PM.  Click here for more information.

RAILROAD POLICE BADGES OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

GPCo author Chip Greiner is currently putting the finishing touches on the sixth book in his "Railroad Police Badge" series. It should be completed by early February and released shortly thereafter. This book is a collector's guide for railroad police badges of pacific northwest railroads for the past century, including value estimates and images of real badges. The book also provides a look at the history of pacific northwest railroad police and the badges they wore. 

THE RAILROADS OF ALDENE

GPCo author and editor Richard J. King has begun work on his next book, focusing on the various railroads of the Aldene, NJ area (including CNJ, LV, B&O, SIRT, RV, and RDG). He is currently researching and looking for photos of these operations, as well as the stories of railroad veterans. CAR FLOATS OF NEW YORK HARBOR
