NS Traffic Impacted by Southern Flooding
Due to the severe flood conditions that Western carriers are experiencing, rail traffic moving through the New Orleans, LA gateway will likely incur delays. Where possible, impacted traffic will be re-routed over alternative gateways. Additionally, some customers may be impacted by embargos issued by Western carriers, which restrict traffic to certain locations. Norfolk Southern continues to closely monitor and adjust operations to minimize traffic delays.
