N&W #611 gets $$$ from NS *

Received the following via email from one of our frequent correspondents.

NS donated 1.5 Mil to the 611 Campaign this morning at 6:11 am!  (11-22-13) 

Between the Norfolk Southern Railway and Union Pacific Railroad, there is just a pile of money suddenly going back into operating more big main line steam. I was in the cab of #611 on the main line at Oak Harbor, OH in the late Eighties. I never thought I'd get to see her run again. This Good Will Ambassador is going to bring a lot of favorable attention to NS, which has polished up its already-positive image as 'The Thoroughbred of Transportation' under Chairman Moorman.
