Pope Francis will visit
Philadelphia in September, marking his first-ever visit to the United States,
and the city is bracing for more than 1.5 million visitors for the weekend of
September 26 – 27. In addition to adding trains to help travelers get around
during Pope Francis' visit, Amtrak®
is working with city officials to ensure a safe and memorable weekend. You can

Since all Amtrak trains will require reservations starting Friday,
September 25, through Monday, September 28, we are encouraging passengers to book
tickets now in order to ensure your reservation.
