Wanton destruction on the Knox & Kane

Received the following via email from Kermit Geary, Jr. Photos, text and captions are his.

It took me a long time to be able to send this file out. My personal feelings toward such useless waste and ruin of so valuable of a resource are borderline violent...If I ever caught someone in the act of perpetrating such a crime, I'd be going to jail for murder. These are the sorry remains of the Kane engine house of the Knox & Kane railroad. Vandals set fire to the facility back in Feb or March... with the resulting devastation. A few nights later, they tried to burn the depot...luckily it didn't burn as readily as the engine house and was able to be saved. Now in Early October, there will be an auction of the property and the scrap dealers will have a field day finishing the actions of some low-life scum in Kane, PA.
